Interior Environment
A University project to create a low poly sci-fi interior environment with first-person. gameplay in mind
This was my first attempt at creating a larger scale environment. I think planning the environment and bringing all the pieces together was the trickiest part due to its scale.
Below is a very early Unreal Engine test. The player would control a 'Habitat Utilising Ground Obviator', or HUGO robot.
Below, the environment has been rendered in Maya using Arnold.
On reflection, I could have allocated more poly's to get rid of hard edges and improve the overall look. It was actually planning out the environment and putting the pieces together that was challenging. It was a good exercise in planning and time management and I gained a broader understanding of workflow when taking on a larger scale project.
