A second-year project with the aim being to create a 3D game ready character. We were provided with a list of characters to choose from, we would then create a base mesh to subdivide and sculpt using 3D sculpting software, in this case, Mudbox. We then retopolgised the sculpted mesh and baked the high detail onto the low detail model. 

 

The character chosen to create in this case was, Rami Malek who starred in the tv series, Mr Robot.

The high poly sculpted mesh was baked onto a lower poly mesh. This mesh came in at around 10,000 tri's in total, below is the final version, post-bake.

More work could have been done to improve the materials and textures, for the clothes. However, the majority of the grade was down to how accurately the head was sculpted and I do feel that was the most successful element of the character - overall a successful project.
